Best indian team for WC 2019 :-



World Cup XI?? Here's my choice —
  • Openers
Rohit Sharma — No doubt he is going to be an opener. He's definitely the best opener in the world with white ball.
Shikhar Dhawan — Rohit and Dhawan have been a great left-right opening pair for India. And when it comes to an ICC tournament, no question mark over Sikhar's place.
  • Middle Order
Virat Kohli — No explanation needed. There is no substitute for this guy!
Ambati Rayadu — After a long search, Rayadu has filled the place for number 4. He has performed well in the past few matches. So he's my pick.
MS Dhoni (wicket keeper) — I don't think Mahi should go lower than this. He is no more that guy who likes to hit sixes off the first ball. He needs some balls to settle, and number five position is good enough for him.
Dinesh Karthik (extra wicket keeper) — Karthik has been phenominal. Nidahas trophy, then NZ series and in many more matches. He has shown his exceptional finishing abilities.
  • All rounders
Hardik Pandya — Matches are going to be held in England where we definitely need pacers. Pandya can be a good all rounding option.
  • Bowlers
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar — The swing king can never be replaced in English pitches. No doubt in his selection.
Mohammed Shami — Another exceptionally good bowler. I don't think Khaleel should replace Shami unless he is fit. He has performed amazing in past few serieses.
Kuldeep Yadav — this young guy can perform in any condition. His past few performances is the proof for that.
Jasprit Bumrah — No need to describe how good he is! He is one of the best bowlers around the world.
So this is my dream XI. But changes will also be required according to the situations. So here are my extras —
  1. Kl Rahul (backup opener)
  2. Vijay Shankar (all rounder)
  3. Kedar Jhadav (can replace dk for sure)
  4. Yuzvendra Chahal (he might replace a fast bowler, but it depends on pitch and form)
  5. Umesh Yadav (but I think team will go for Khaleel Ahmed. But I like Umesh more than Khaleel.

Update — Sadly, Dinesh Karthik is out of India vs Australia series that is the last series before WC.
In last few matches, teams usually play with their final team (injured players exception).
I'm shocked with exclusion of DK and I still want DK to play WC 2019, but Indian selection committee looks in some different mood.. -_-
